Quick answers about Bus Loop's rules, levels, boosters, saves and languages.
What is Bus Loop?
Bus Loop is a free browser puzzle game. You release buses from a crowded car park, match them with same-colour passengers walking around a loop, and clear every bus and passenger before the waiting bays fill.
Is Bus Loop free to play?
Yes. The game is free to play in a web browser. Optional rewarded ads can add a waiting bay or activate a booster, and the site may show display advertising.
How many levels does Bus Loop have?
There are 200 levels across 20 chapters. Each chapter introduces a different loop shape; the last chapter uses a double loop.
Why is level 61 locked?
Levels 1–60 are open to everyone. From level 61, each level unlocks only after you clear the previous one. This keeps the later difficulty curve sequential.
How do passengers board a bus?
Passengers walk around the loop and board only at the boarding point at the bottom. A bus waiting in a bay does not pull passengers from elsewhere, so you must wait for the matching colour to reach the point.
What happens when all waiting bays are full?
When every bay is occupied and no bus is loading or departing, a 6–8 second countdown starts. If it ends, the level fails. Freeing a bay resets the countdown.
How many waiting bays do I start with?
Every level starts with four waiting bays. You can add more with coins, a rewarded ad, or the +1 bay booster, up to the game's maximum.
What does the crane do?
The crane removes any parked bus even if its path is blocked. The first crane use in each level is free; later uses require a short rewarded ad.
Does the rainbow bus remove passengers too?
Yes. The rainbow bus removes one parked vehicle and the same number of matching passengers, keeping the total passenger and seat counts in sync.
Can I change the language?
Yes. The game supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and German. Use the Language link on the home screen or the pause menu. English is the default.
Does Bus Loop save my progress?
Yes. Progress, stars, coins, the current level and your language choice are saved in your browser's localStorage. Clearing browser data removes the save. localStorage is tied to the domain, so 127.0.0.1 and busloop.cc keep separate saves.
Does Bus Loop work on mobile?
Yes. The game is designed for desktop, tablet and phone browsers. The layout and canvas resize to the available screen.
Are the boosters required to win?
No. Boosters are optional assistance. Every level is generated with a valid clearing order, and a careful release plan is enough to finish without spending coins or watching ads.
How do I report a problem or ask a privacy question?
Use the contact details on the About page or the privacy contact listed in the Privacy Policy. Include your browser, device and the level number if you are reporting a bug.
